If your family is in this cycle – and you want to make a change – The Salvation Army Northwest is here for you. Pathway of Hope provides individualized case management services to families with school aged children. Pathway of Hope can move your family from crisis to stability by pairing you with a case manager who will coach and support you. You are eligible if you are ready to take action to improve your life.
The Pathway of Hope program is currently at capacity. Pathway of Hope can move a family from crisis to stability by pairing them with a case manager who will connect the family to the services they need. These services include: referrals to homeless shelters, access to food banks in your area, help obtaining affordable housing, job-training, and more.

Financial Assistance
At The Seattle Temple Corps, there are financial services to help families avoid falling into the cycle of crisis by supplementing their income with utility and rental payments. This assistance often becomes the difference between shelter and eviction, between maintaining honest work and selling drugs or services for money, and between keeping kids in one place and moving them out of their homes and onto the streets.
Our rental and utility assistance portal opens on the 25th of each month at 9am and closes when capacity has been reached. You are only eligible for assistance once per year, those who have received assistance within the last 12 months will not be selected. Rental assistance is lottery-style, applying does not guarantee service. Utility assistance is first-come first-serve. If you need assistance with the online application, please visit our office on the 25th at 9am and a staff member can assist you. If the 25th of the month falls on a weekend, the procedure remains the same however those needing in-person assistance can visit the office the next weekday (M-F), excluding holidays. Please note that we only service zip codes in the North Seattle area: 98177, 98155, 98028, 98133, 98125, 98117, 98103, 98115, 98107, 98195, 98105.
